The guys at Distilled Magazine asked me a couple questions:

I have just returned from the new BoXXer Press launch held in Alicante, Spain, and I’m sure that during this time, many people saw that I will be changing teams for next season. This is my first chance since the announcement to take the opportunity to thank Mongoose and all its great co-sponsors. A big thanks to Mongoose SA and everyone at Pacific Cycles for everything they have done for me over the last 3 years. It has been an amazing 3 seasons. I could not be where I am today without the help and support I have had over that time. I have met and worked with some amazing people. My mechanic John Canepa, my team mate Eric Carter, the Mongoose Team Manager Steve Spencer have all made the races extremely enjoyable and for me, successful. I would also like to thank the many people behind the scenes especially Sarah, Darren,
Bruno ,George and Jeff. Thanks for the ride!

I was invited to the new Rock Shox BoXXer Media Launch to be held in Alicante, Spain. I jumped at the opportunity.
I flew in from home and was greeted at the Airport by Sram personal. Steve Peat had already landed and we headed out of town to a Farm about 40 min outside of Alicante. It’s called Fenasosa, check out http://www.lafenasosa.com/ (Though it’s all in Spanish)
The Sram truck and tent was all setup from the OEM camp that had taken place the week before. We arrived just in time for lunch and what a lunch it was. We ate like kings the entire week.
The plan was to ride with 2 groups of 6 Media personal for 2 days each. Peaty, Morland and myself proceeded to check out the riding after lunch and get a feel for what tracks to ride. The are 7 DH tracks at the moment and plans to build more. There is a cool 4x track and some freeride drops at the bottom of the hill. There is also a Dirt jump park which was a bit wet as they have had quite a bit of rain.
